David and Melissa Mettler serve with ReNew to help strengthen the souls of Christian leaders so they can thrive in every season of life and ministry. David and Melissa served as missionaries in Germany for 13 years where they experienced first hand the many joys and sorrows of ministry life. David has a MA in Theology from Fuller Seminary and Melissa trained as a Spiritual Director with Sustainable Faith in Amsterdam. They currently live in the Pacific Northwest with their two children.

Those who minister to others often labor under a heavy burden, all the while feeling cut off from their relationship to others and God. David and Melissa long to help those in ministry live into Jesus’ invitation in Mt. 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (NIV) Together they desire to use their training and experience in long-term ministry to help others experience Christ’s presence in the midst of their ministry challenges.
